Treasure Time (Trevor as he is known down at Somerville Lodge) the colt in which I have a handful of shares with the Raceshare syndicate is entered for the 7f
Geri's Kolorful Irish EBF Novice Stakes up at Haydcok on Thursday (6th July) for his second start.
Ninth on debut at Newbury last month, when I was lucky enough to go along as an owner, although he blotted his copybook somewhat being incredibly coltish in the pre-parade and parade ring before running green as grass the race at Newbury is actually looking pretty hot and the form working out okay. Inishfallen, finished sixth, came out and won at Kempton next time and Metallo, finished twelfth, won at Salisbury next time out; Mad Punter was down the field in this race having finished seventh in the Newbury Novice Stakes. Winner at Newbury Iberian was a 200,000 Guineas yearling and is reportedly well thought of at the Charlie Hills yard so Trevor's first run may not have been as bad as first seemed. I have no updates from the team at Raceshare or Somerville Lodge as yet, but rest assured as soon as I do you will read about it here first.
