Treasure Time second at Kempton Park on Wednesday 11th October 2023

Treasure Time, the two-year-old I have a handful of shares in with the Raceshare group, was second at Kempton Park this afternoon on the 7f Unibet More Extra Place Races Novice Stakes. Well away he was in a decent position throughout under Cieren Fallon and came down the home straight impressively to be beaten just a neck; I was doing the betting shop lean and had it been seven-and-a-half furlongs I think he would have got up. It was a massive improvement on his debut run at Newbury and he certainly looks a winner in waiting, I know I am biased, but he will have gone in a few notebooks after that run. 

I am actually down at Somerville Lodge this weekend with William and Maureen Haggas and the Raceshare team on a stable visit to meet 'Trevor' as he is known at the stables. After the effort this evening I shall have to take him a packet of Polos. 

Onwards and upwards all being well; who knows maybe the team will be plotting a tilt at the All-Weather Championships over the winter.
