The horseracing week ahead

There isn't much grabbing my attention early this week as far a having a punt is concerned though, as mentioned in an earlier post, Treasure Time, the gelding I have a handful of shares in is entered to run at Kempton on Wednesday.

It is that time of year when the Flat is coming to an end and the Jumps game is just getting started and I often advise it's a time to tread carefully as the form can be all over the show. We may see a few big names of the Jumps game at Punchestown on Wednesday and Thursday  though it already looks like most will be long odds-on and unbackable.

It s Dubai Future Champions Festival Friday and Saturday at Newmarket with seven Group races over the two days including the Group One bet365 Fillies' Mile on Friday and the Group One  Dewhurst Stakes on Saturday. They also host the massive betting heat that is the Cesarewitch Handicap.

I have a few bets in mind for later in the week and the weekend but I am holding off from any ante-post bets with the weather likely to change dramatically later this week and who knows what type of going we may have come the weekend.

Be lucky
