The horse racing week ahead including the Tingle Creek Chase

After a very unusual weekend for me, not having a bet, we do have a lot to look forward to this week.

As for the weekend just gone I saved my money as it turned out. Western Writer was under consideration for a bet Friday evening but finished sixth having blown the start at Wolverhampton - he is one to note for the future. One I wanted to back Saturday, Carnival Girl, didn't run and may be out later this week. I also decided not to bet in the Fighting Fifth and saved my money there with Epatante getting beaten. Some days you are better not getting involved; I know having had a beer with a few of the lads on Sunday that they all had nightmares.

It's a busy week up on Merseyside as Haydock hosts a decent card on Wednesday and come Saturday it's a very good card at Aintree with the Grade Two Many Clouds Chase and the Grade Three Becher Chase. For me though the week builds to the Tingle Creek meeting at Sandown, any regular visitor to the site will know I love tis meeting. The meeting starts on Friday and the ITV cameras will be on course both days. Sadly Shishkin will be missing from the big race the Grade One Tingle Creek Chase but it should still be a cracker and its a decent card all round with the Grade One  Henry VII Novices’ Chase also being run.

Do keep popping back as all the bets this week will be found on here first.

Be lucky
