The horse racing week ahead and a brief look back at the weekend action

With just one win from seven bets at Sandown on Saturday I won't be dwelling on the meeting! Naturally High was my winner and certainly looks one to keep an eye on in the Novice Hurdle division.  As for the big race Willie Mullins reports Chacun Pour Soi to be “very sore behind” following his disappointing run in the Tingle Creek Chase. It was though a good day out with the fellas and a few beers got sunk so I can't complain too much.

There is the possibility of a bet or two this week on the All-Weather with the meeting at Kempton on Wednesday of particular interest with some decent Novice Stakes on the card. Come the weekend we have the Cheltenham International meeting on Friday and Saturday with the Grade Two International Hurdle and the Glenfarclas Crystal Cup Cross Country Handicap Chase amongst the big races. There is also a good card at Doncaster on Saturday.

We also have the big meeting in Hong Kong this weekend on Sunday with the LONGINES Hong Kong International Races.

Be lucky
