The horse racing week ahead and a bet for Monday
Seasons greetings and all that dear reader. To say this week builds to the weekend would be an understatement with the King George VI Chase at Kempton the big highlight on Boxing Day (Sunday). More on the weekend action as the week goes on.
There are meetings here in the UK Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday but with the greatest of respect a lost of it is pretty basic stuff naturally. That said I am having a punt on Monday on the All-Weather.
Operating makes debut for the Gosdens yard today in the Play Coral Racing-Super-Series For Free Irish EBF Novice Stakes due off at 4.30 up at Wolverhampton. By War Front out of Good Vibes he is a brother to several winners, most notably Sweet Orange who won fair races in Ireland and Hong Kong, in a tried and tested coupling. Still in the ownership of Michael Tabor etc....... despite being trained at Clarehaven Stables he is worth a look in this with breeding suggesting the Tapeta will be no issue; War Front being top-class on the Dirt in his day and the grandsire on the Dam side is BC Juvenile winner Unbridleds Song. I have the 11-4.
