The horse racing week ahead
It is a quiet start to the week, as you would expect, and I have no bets for Monday. In fact it is fairly mediocre stuff for the first few days of the week. They race at Newbury on Thursday evening and we should see some nicely bred two-year-olds in their to Novice heats and I will be watching with interest to see which of those entered do line-up.
There is plenty to look forward at the weekend as this week really does build to the big meeting at Sandown Friday and Saturday with the Group One Coral Eclipse the main event. Once again it should be a real cracker as the majority of the season's top three-year-olds potentially line-up to clash with the older generation; just about all the big names you would expect are entered as I write on Monday. Obviously they won't all run but it should be a top class renewal.
Be lucky
