The horse racing week ahead
Spectators are allowed back trackside finally this week with Carlisle and Redcar racing on the Monday afternoon and Windsor and Leicester hosting evening meetings being the first track to open their doors. Tracks in England are allowed to welcome up to 4,000 people or 50 per cent of capacity, whichever is smaller, so all being well the larger meetings such as Royal Ascot next month will be able to welcome 10,000 racegoers in.
Four horses trained by Iain Jardine are being gambled again this morning, his horses were involved in a gamble back in February as well. The Bookies have naturally reacted in panic and the horses are shortening dramatically on Monday morning. I am not on any and will not be getting involved.
It is a fairly quiet start to the week for me following a very busy few days and in truth it is pretty standard stuff for the next few days. Things do warm-up quality wise as the week progresses with some decent races for the weekend not least of course the Irish Guineas.
No bet for me on Monday but as ever do check back as the week progresses as naturally any bets I am having will be on here as soon as placed; I may have one for Tuesday.
Be lucky
