The horse racing week ahead

I have had a cheeky Monday evening bet at Naas so if you didn't visit the site on Sunday do check to post for details.

As for the rest of the week I do have a couple of possible bets in mind for a few days time but this week really is all about the weekend with the QIPCO Guineas Festival at Newmarket Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday is a decent card with the 2,000 Guineas being run on Saturday and the 1,000 Guineas on Sunday with interesting support races on both days as well. Out in the States on Saturday evening at Churchill Downs we have a major racecard as well with the Grade One Kentucky Derby the main event out there.

For Jumps fans the season out in Ireland comes to an end with the Punchestown Festival Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with a plethora of short-priced jollies including Galopin Des Champs likely to line-up.

Also, somewhat further down the pecking order in the grand scheme of things, Treasure Time, the three-year-old I have a handful of shard in with the Raceshare Syndicate, should been entered to run at Salisbury on Sunday in the 7f Side Glance Novice Stakes. Exciting times ahead this week.

Be lucky
