The horse racing week ahead
It is one of those weeks that really does build to the weekend with plenty of action in Britain and Ireland come Saturday and Sunday with the Irish Champions Festival getting under way at Leopardstown on the Saturday before moving to the Curragh on Sunday. Also on Sunday we have racing from Longchamp where they host the Arc trials day.
Nothing much is floating my boat early in the week though I will be taking a peak at the Grade One 7f Hopeful Stakes over the Pond in Saratoga on Monday evening with some of the most promising two-year-olds in America on show. The Future Stayers' Maiden Stakes at Goodwood on Tuesday is worth a watch with the future in mind but it will be Wednesday at the earliest that I have a bet this week it appears unless I jump on one ante-post for the weekend.
