The horse racing week ahead
Following a busy few days we enter another week where it's pretty quiet for a few days, nothing much taking my fancy, but there's the likelihood of a few bets to be had as we head into the weekend.
The meeting at Newbury on Friday has thrown up some decent two-year-olds in recent years and it certainly a meeting to keep a close on eye. The Irish Oaks takes place on Saturday and confirmations for the Curragh Classic will be announced Tuesday lunchtime and it is the big meeting of the weekend truth be told. Newbury and Newmarket are the main cards here in the UK Saturday with a couple of Listed races and the Group Three Hackwood Stakes.
No bet for me on Monday, but do remember to check back as the week goes on.
