The horse racing week ahead
We are entering that strange time of the season with so many horses in the jumps sphere now wrapped up in cotton wool with the Cheltenham Festival in mind, the All-Weather just kind of ticking over and the Turf season a few weeks off. A quick glance down the fixtures tell you all you need to know this week with the Grade One Ascot Chase on Saturday the only top-drawer race taking place. The weekend action aint too bad, and there are a few Group races at Meydan on Friday, but even the Carnival in Dubai enters a slight lull now with Super Saturday and Dubai World Cup night looming in March.
I had Mountain Song pencilled in as a bet this evening at Wolverhampton but all to predictably that one is odds-on. It is looking like a relatively quiet week, perhaps not a bad thing with the run of form I have been in, I tipped two losers at the weekend. Anyway, any bets that are placed will of course be on here first so do check back; and the Cheltenham Festival page will be updated with any news as and when.
Be lucky
