The horse racing week ahead

We have a cracking week of horse racing to look forward to with the Guineas Meeting at Newmarket over the weekend and top-class Jumping action out in Ireland - there really is something for everyone this week.

It's a quiet start on Monday with respect to the meetings taken place but then The Punchestown Festival kicks off on Tuesday with three Grade One races on the card Tuesday and plenty to enjoy all the way through to Saturday. On Wednesday Ascot hosts its first Flat meeting of the season and they could well be a Royal Ascot pointer or two to be gleaned, on Thursday Chelmsford City gets in on the action with a Listed heat at the Essex track and come Friday the Guineas Festival gets away at Newmarket with the Group Two Jockey Club Stakes the race of the day. Come the weekend we have the 2,000 Guineas on Saturday and 1,000 Guineas on Sunday - it's going to be a busy week!
Be lucky
