The horse racing week ahead
Another weekend of hard luck stories for me with a slight losing day at the Dubai World Cup meeting. Life Is Good would have stuck a plaster over the bleeding but the writing was on the wall as they entered the final furlong of the 1m2f - he started treading water and that was that!
It is one of those weird and wonderful anomalies of the horse racing fixture list that the Turf racing season, having kicked-off on Saturday, now effectively stops for four days as there is no Flat racing, other than All-Weather, in the UK again until Friday and none this weekend! That said with my run of luck lately a couple of quieter days won't hurt!!!!!
Highlight of this weekend is the Grade Three Coral Scottish Grand National Handicap Chase up at Ayr along with the Grade Two Scottish Champion Hurdle and the Future Champion Novices' Chase.
I have got my eye on a couple of bets later this week so do check back as they will of course be here on the site first.
Be lucky
