The horse racing week ahead

It's a busy week ahead in the horse racing world although a quiet start foe me at least with no bet on Monday.

We do have plenty to look forward to though not least the distinct possibility that the two top two-mile chasers Shishkin and Energumene could go head to head in the Grade One Clarence House Chase at Ascot on Saturday. It's the sort of clash you only get a the Festival but we might, just might, be in for a real treat at the weekend. ITV will be trackside.

Also this week we have the Inaugural Winter Million festival taking place at Lingfield Park on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with some decent prizes up for grabs; ITV will be covering the cards on Friday and Sunday which are both Jumps cards with the Flat card being on Saturday including the first Winter Oaks on the Polytrack.  We are also into week two of the Dubai Carnival out at Meydan with Group action on the Turf and the Dirt tracks out there to enjoy.

Any bets will naturally be put up right here on Girdys Gee Gees first so do check back as the week builds to some cracking racing.

Be lucky
