The horse racing week ahead

It is a quiet start to the week for me, in fact for the horse racing game in general with just two meetings on Monday as they race at Plumpton and Leicester. It's Jump action all the way this week with no Flat meetings in the UK until they race at Lingfield on the Polytrack Saturday afternoon and Wolverhampton on the Tapeta in the evening. Luckily, the weather looks okay as it could have been egg on the face time for those who organise the fixture list if the Jumps cards got called off!

As we head into the weekend we have the November racing weekend at Ascot and on Saturday we have the Betfair Chase meeting at Haydock taking centre stage. The G.1  Betfair Chase is very much dish of the day and as it stands we have entries including Champ, A Plus Tard, , Native River and Bristol De Mai who will be looking to win the race for a fourth time.

Out in  Bahrain they host the Group Three Bahrain International Trophy on Friday at Sakhir racecourse. It's a real international affair with 78 entries from across the globe. Ten different nations are represented in the entries for the £500,000 contest, due to be run as a G3 for the first time in 2021. Britain leads the way with 26 entries, followed by Ireland (10), France (10), UAE (10), Bahrain (8), Saudi Arabia (8), Norway (3), Sweden (1), Qatar (1) and Germany (1).

It looks like being a fairly quiet start to the week as far as bets are concerned truth be told, there are a couple of bets I might have as the week goes on but it's not a long list! Do check back for any news as the week progresses as the bets I am having will as ever be on the site first.

Be lucky
