The horse racing week ahead

Fairyhouse and Stratford have abandoned today due to the ongoing shocking weather around the country. Stratford's meeting was cancelled on Sunday after heavy overnight rain left the course waterlogged whilst Fairyhouse were forced to scrap their fixture at 7.30 this morning. Carlisle and Kempton go ahead.

The meeting of the week is Cheltenham as they host their November meeting with the BetVictor Gold Cup the main event alongside a number of other decent races over the three days - Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Somewhat surprisingly there is no All-Weather racing until Saturday so we could have limited opportunities for bets until Friday especially if the weather Gods keep it pouring down like it has been.

Any punts I do have will, of course, be found right here on Girdys Gee Gees so do keep popping back to see any updates.

For now, stay dry and be lucky
