The horse racing week ahead

It was an okay weekend for me with a couple of winners; I still can't believe Coroebus got reeled in at Newmarket but that's racing some days!

It's not the greatest few days of horse racing ahead but come the weekend there is plenty to look forward to.  The Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe meeting on Sunday is of course the main event but there are good cards at Ascot and Newmarket on Saturday as well. No bets for me on Monday or Tuesday but there are some planned, all being well, for later in the week and of course over the big weekend meetings.

Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe confirmations

There were no major withdrawals at Monday's first forfeit stage for the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp on Sunday 2nd October. Fourteen horses were confirmed with my ante-post punt Hurricane Lane at 8-1 amongst them. Tarnawa remains in and I am contemplating a bet on her as she is in the Dirty Dozen this year and Derby winner Adayar is also still on course to line-up apparently but the colt needs to be supplemented.

Be lucky
