The best bet for the horse racing at Nottingham Tuesday 5th August

The Follow myracingtips On Twitter Novice Stakes at Nottingham over 1m2f at 7.00 on Tuesday evening doesn’t look the best Novice race we’ll see all year but I do fancy one.

Anyone that has been visiting the site for a while will know Farhh is one of my all-time favourite horses – he was a class act. He’s full sister, by Pivotal out of Gonbarda the Saeed bin Suroor trained Last Look goes in this and should prove too good for the opposition; other full siblings include the winners Racing History, Basem and Welcome Gift.

This filly won at Chelmsford on her belated debut last month by half the track (actually 5 lengths) over the distance and you would expect her to have bigger targets than this later in her career. All the above mentioned four full siblings had the word ‘soft’ in winning form so the underfoot conditions should be just fine and bin Suroor has trained all bar one of the mares offspring as well as the mare herself so he knows the family!  Gabriele Malune might not have been my first choice to ride but he is no mug and takes off a handy 3lb. She is short, Bet365 went up first at 10-11so I will be grabbing the best price I can when some of the others chalk-up, she should be backed.
