I am having just the one bet on day two of the big meeting at Aintree as it stands, I write Wednesday afternoon, and I have taken a price on the six-year-old.
The Grade One Doom Bar Sefton Novices' Hurdle at 4.40 on Friday can go to Bravemansgame. My bet for the 2m5f Ballymore Novices Hurdle at the Festival he was far from disgraced in third there leading until the last flight. The step-up in trip not an obvious plus but it shouldn’t be a problem on this flatter track and this looks an easier task with the greatest of respect to his rivals. Hopefully Harry Cobden can get him into a nice rhythm up front before proving too strong for this field. I have taken the 15-8 which is available with Paddy power and Betfair on Wednesday.
