Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe build-up

Three-year-olds Adayar and Snowfall are now officially in the line-up for the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp after being supplemented for Sunday's race at a cost of €120,000 on Wednesday.

The Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe declarations, confirmed jockey bookings and draw announcements are due on Thursday.

I am already on Hurricane Lane at 8-1 ante-post and have today taken 11-4 about Tarnawa as the Dirty Dozen member, for me, simply has to be backed the filly having on paper a very good chance.

Sunday's Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe looks likely to be run on soft ground. The forecast is for showers on Friday and Saturday with some pretty heavy rain very possible on Sunday. The ground was described as good to soft, good in places Wednesday morning.

For me, soft ground would be unlikely to hinder Tarnawa or Hurricane Lane, who have both won in France on going described as very soft or heavy but, perhaps ironically, it might not be great news for the two supplemented Adayar and Snowfall.
