Bit if a nightmare yesterday with my two tips getting beat, Toromona looks like one best left alone for now whilst Yantarni was second again doing enough to suggest he can win a race but over what trip?
My one winner from the Tingle Creek meeting Naturally High is out again quickly running in the Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Novices' Handicap Hurdle at Lingfield. Turned out quickly under a 7lb penalty he looks a 'good thing' but is priced as such at 4-6 and I won't be backing him today. He does seem to have got the hang of the hurdling game now and is one for the notebook moving forward; I aint suggesting he is a good thing for the Supreme Novice Hurdle but he might turn out half decent.
I mentioned earlier in the week it's a fair card at Kempton Park today and there are a number of two-year-olds worth watching. One I mentioned recently, Western Writer, goes in the mile Try Our New Super Boosts At Unibet Novice Stakes at 5.30. He was sixth on debut when I nearly tipped him but I got that one right leaving him alone as he blew the start and never really got in a blow. The Bookies aint taking a chance with the colt today and he is also odds-on already and unbackable. Nobel a 825,000 Guineas yearling makes debut in the race and is one to watch as is another debutant the nicely bred Base Note. Earlier on the card Tangled Words and Mythical Dancer look impossible to separate to me in the 4.30, both from the yard of Charlie Appleby, so the race is left alone. The 5.00 has some potentially nice young ones lining-up as well including Khathak a full-brother to Ribchester making debut along with Sonnerie Power a half-brother to a number of winners. It's another race to watch rather than punt in I think.
Get that note book out.
Be lucky
