Horse racing this week, a story of no bets so far
It has been a very quiet week down at Triple G Towers so far with just the one bet placed,
The Princes Poet at Windsor on Monday evening and that one was withdrawn on vet's advice before the start! I had Princeville pencilled in as a bet at Yarmouth this evening but that one is odds-on in the Diomed EBF Maiden Stakes and unbackable at the price sadly. I also had a ring around
Courageous Knight in the Miles Commercial British EBF Maiden Stakes at Epsom on Thursday evening having talked of the colt before. He looks likely to be odds-on again (the very reason why I have left him alone before) and as a horse with form figures of 4,2,2 I am glad I have decided against backing him at short odds thus far and I won't be getting involved at odds-on now!
The fields at Brighton today are ridiculously small and I can't be getting involved down there and it's not much better at the other meetings truth be told. Sadly it's another day of keeping the powder dry as far as I am concerned. Hopefully I will have a bet or two as we go towards the weekend.
For now, enjoy the sunshine and be lucky.
