Horse racing news Tuesday 11th June 2019 - as far as I am concerned anyway there is no news. It has been a very quiet start to the week this week for me. Things will start to warm-up as this week goes by with the first declarations for Royal Ascot, of course, due as well as a couple of half decent meetings at Sandown and York on Saturday and  the Group One Prix Diane out in Chantilly on Sunday.

No major news today concerning Royal Ascot, you know it’s a slow news day when the papers trot out the ‘Jockeys and Trainers to follow’ and ‘Bookmakers fear Aidan O'Brien and Ryan Moore’ stories. None of that on here, it’s fairly obvious with Moore 8-15 to be top Jockey at the meeting and O’Brien 2-5 to be top Trainer. 

I have been sifting through the form book and going over race replays again and again till the wee small hours; I am in danger of getting those square eyes my old Mum used to warn me about.
