Doncaster St Leger Festival Friday & Saturday Bets

Triple G has recovered from a particularly nasty bout of man flu and is back for the big race Saturday the St Leger. I will be on the annual trip to the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials for a bit of rest and recuperation in the able hands of the lovely Sallyann Porter.
As the WiFi aint great out on the cross country course the bets are going up early; hopefully the following four will pay for a new Barbour jacket and shirt or two.
Firstly Friday and the Group Three Sceptre Stakes in which Eternally has form on the soft and the Gosden filly should come on for her first start in ten months when 2nd at Goodwood. Grab the 7-2.
The Flying Childers Stakes should go to  Havana Grey who arries in great nick. Won the G3 Molecomb Stakes at Goodwood and was then runner-up in G1 Prix Morny at Deauville. Triple G is on at 6-4.
The Group Two Doncaster Cup is the big one on Friday and I ab on one that did me a favour last year. Sheikhzayedroad won  this in a thrilling finish last year and showed a bit more on his latest run in the Lonsdale Cup to suggest a follow-up is on the cards; help yourself to the 5-1.
On Saturday the Group One St Leger an go to Stradivarius at 8-1. You had to be impressed with the way he won the G1 Goodwood Cup (Big Orange not at his best 2nd) as he showed the opposition a clean pair of heels in the final furlong; the chestnut will stay, has a bit of pace and class and is improving.
Be lucky
