Day two at the Punchestown Festival
It is Ladbrokes Punchestown Gold Cup day at the Punchestown Festival and recent Gold Cup winner Galopin Des Champs will be all the rage for the Grade One three-mile event; he is odds-on. He beat Bravemansgame by 7 lengths at Cheltenham and barring his fall at the last in the Turners at last years Festival, the race at his mercy, the seven-year-old has looked a bit of a beast truth be told since going Chasing. As much as I am a fan of Bravemansgame it is hard to see how he can reverse the form from Cheltenham especially with this undulating track with a steady rise over the final half-a-mile likely to suit the jolly better as well.
I aint having a bet n Wednesday, but there is plenty to look forward to later this week so do check back.
Be lucky
