Best bets for the horse racing Wednesday 5th December

Two bets for me on a wet and dull Wednesday on the All-Weather, one at Lingfield and one at Kempton.

My first bet of the day goes in the 1.00 at Lingfield the 1m2f Betway Casino Conditions Stakes. Toast Of New York has of course been rubbing shoulders with better than these out in the States, will all due respect to the opposition. The seven-year-old looks the one to be on at 5-4 now back in Blighty bidding to win this race for the second successive year.

The second goes in the 4.30 at Kempton the 32Red Casino/British Stallions Studs EBF Novice Stakes over 6f. Magic Image is one I have been keeping an eye out for from the yard of Saeed bin Suroor the filly being a half-sister to several winners. It would be no surprise if she were too good for this line-up on her debut and with the yard still in great form you can expect her to now her job first time out. Short enough at 11-8 but I have to be on.
