Best bets for the horse racing Wednesday 25th July 2018

A nice evening yesterday for Triple G with a cheeky little winner at Chelmsford City last night – Piece Of History at 6-4. Trainer of that winner, Saeed bin Suroor, has three out today and I quite fancy two of them.

Three-year-old colt Mokhles goes in the 2.50 at Lingfield the 1m4f Oilfield Offshore Underwriting Handicap. The third foal of Luckbealadytonight his two half-brothers, Lonely The Brave and Mayberain, are both winners and this colt has been slowly improving with each of his three runs. An OR of 75 looks workable to me and he can get off the mark on his handicap bow. I have taken the 3-1.

The next runs in the 3.10 at Catterick and is Jfoul. The 2yo colt got off the mark over seven furlongs at Chelmfsord City on his third start staying on well to win. The draw has been kind and hopefully, he can track likely leader Aussie View before kicking clear! He has drifted a little in the market early this morning but I have taken the 4-1 happily.

Be lucky
