Best bets for the Horse racing Thursday 2nd March

Charlie Appleby has a couple of unraced three-year-olds making debut on Thursday on the All-Weather, one at Newcastle in the afternoon and the other at Chelmsford under the lights on the evening card.  I think the cash might come for both of these so I am on overnight.

Best bets for the Horse racing at Newcastle

1m2f Huge Daily Boosts Only At BetUK Maiden Stakes at 2.35 is where Through The Ages has been sent with Luke Morris getting the leg-up. Already a gelding despite having never run he is a son of Golden Horn out of the top-class broodmare Rumh making him a half-brother to six winners, including G.1 winners Yibir and Wild Illusion. Having undergone the snip it is a all about winning races for him now and sights will surely be set fairly high. I am on for him to make it a winning start to his career at Evens.

Best bets for the Horse racing at Chelmsford City

Sithchean goes in the opener at Chelmsford City, the mile Fairwood Fillies' Novice Stakes at 5.15. Harry Davies is in the saddle taking 3lb off the daughter of Dark Angel and being out of Firth Of Lorne she is a half-sister to no less than nine winners! Several of her siblings have been Pattern class and eight-furlongs is generally their perfect trip so there is a lot to like about her on paper. Short again, also Evens, I am on her as well to get off to a winning start.
