Best bets for the horse racing this weekend Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th February

It’s been a good week so far at triple G Towers, 3 winners tipped from 6 runners with Blazon the 10-1 highlight. Hopefully I have a few more winners for the weekend.

First the bad news, Storm Dennis threatens to decimate Saturday's racing schedule, with Ascot, Wincanton and Lingfield calling inspections due to the strong winds forecast. They should race at Ascot, Haydock and Wincanton over the sticks and on the All-Weather at Lingfield plus Newcastle in the evening under the lights, Storm Dennis allowing! I shall be enjoying the racing wrapped up nice and warm in my local as it looks like a weekend not to venture too far! I am sticking to the All-weather and have five bets in total for you to consider.

All my Saturday bets are at Lingfield and you could have a little Yankee if that’s your thing. Springhouse Farm must have been dreaming of the Kentucky Derby and not a Novice Stakes event a Lingfield when they bred the chestnut colt Dublin Pharoah. By the great American Pharoah out of unraced mare Wile Cat, who is by Storm Cat that excellent source of top-class 2yos in Europe and US there most of been high hopes. But the colt runes in the 2.00 the one-mile Ladbrokes Home Of The Odds Boost Novice Stakes down in Surrey on Saturday. Fourth on debut at Chelmsford he was third at Newcastle last time and that from has been boosted since with the fourth winning twice. I think he should get off the mark at the third attempt and will grab th best price I can when the Bookies chalk-up.

At 2.35 we should see Kachy make his belated All-Weather seasonal debut in the 6f Heed Your Hunch At Betway Handicap. He will be giving away chunks of weight in this, but connections need to get him running and qualified to defend his A/W Sprint crown come Easter. I of course am on at 4-1 ante-post for the final so all being well he will show his well being here. He can be backed at Evens and I have done that as I am sure he can hold this lot off even given them just shy of a stone and more.

At 3.10 we have the 5f BetYourWay At Betway Handicap with six speedsters lining-up. Green Door loves it down in Surrey, 7 runs, 3 wins and 2 places over track and trip, the last of those wins in January. The nine-year-old is more than capable of winning of today's mark of 75 and should be able to get a perfect pitch up the pointed end from the off. Blinkers replace the usual visor to mix things up a bit and Silvestre and De Sousa is booked to ride. Get on the grey at 7-2.

My final punt at Lingfield goes in the 3.45 the 1m2f Betway Handicap. El Ghazwani has been in fine form this winter, I tipped him when he won here in December, and he went in again over C&D again 2 weeks ago. This would require a career best performance on ratings, but I think he can make it 6 wins over track and trip. Get on at 6-4.

And so, to Sunday and the 3.35 at Kempton the 2m 32Red Conditions Stakes (All Weather Championships Fast-Track Qualifier). Rainbow Dreamer is one I have talked of and tipped before, won for me 4th January. The seven-year-old has already won an FTQ for Finals Day and is currently jolly for the A/W Marathon at Easter weekend. If I can get a fair price, I will be backing the Alan King trained gelding. King’s Advice is rated higher, but I think his figure flatters him a bit; was beaten fair and square at Lingfield at the end of January.

Be lucky
