Best bets for the horse racing Saturday 1st December

There is plenty going on again this weekend with racing at Newcastle , Doncaster, Newbury, Bangor-On-Dee and Wolverhampton.
The Nicky Henderson trained Santini has three entries for one on Friday and two Saturday and the six-year-old goes in the Ladbrokes John Francome Novices' Chase at 12.45. No slouch in his four Hurdle runs he won the G.1 Doom Bar Sefton Novices' Hurdle at Aintree in April in the style of a good horse and looks a classy Chaser in the making. He is expected to get off to a winning start over the larger obstacles. I have the 11-8.
Newcastle hosts the Grade One Fighting Fifth Hurdle, they are due off at 2.05. Samcro has travelled over from Ireland to take on reigning Champion Hurdler Buveur D’Air and with the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle winner Summerville Boy also joining the party this could be a cracker. Of the others Apples Jade and Bedrock are hardly donkeys – sit back and enjoy. I think the Champ will take some beating and I have the 11-10 with Paddy Power that was around earlier this week.
They go on the Tapeta at Wolverhampton in the evening with the first race at 5.45. The one that interests Triple G goes in the Follow Top Tipster Templegate At Sun Racing Handicap 7.15. Saeed bin Suroor trained Godolphin filly Dubai One drops in grade returning from an absence - had been tried in Group class a while back in Dubai. She has won here over 5 and 6 furlongs and has dropped below her last winning mark. At 9-2 I think she will shine under the lights.
