Best bets for the horse racing Saturday 13th January 2018
The weekend is here and there are bets to be had; on the sickbed or not bills need to be paid! They go on the Polytrack at Lingfield and that's where I will be getting involved.
At 1.25 they host the Betway Sprint Handicap and Kasbah looks tempting. The six-year-old generally goes well here and has won over track and trip; placing up several times. His recent second at the track suggests the gelding is very fairly handicapped on the best of his form and he should take this at a tasty looking 6-1.
Lightly raced 4yo Surrey Hope might just be a 100+ horse with a few more runs under his belt and gets in for the 2.00 off of 94. Signed off last season in August with a career-best effort when winning at Salisbury over 8f, good to firm, and the form is working out well. At 5-1 a chance is taken that he goes on the surface as if he does he wins.
So that's just the two for Triple G this Saturday but all being well at the prices it could be a good profitable afternoon - maybe pay for a nice private nurse for a bedbath or two ;o)
