Best bets for the horse racing at Windsor today
No messing about this week, as last Monday, I am getting involved at Windsor this afternoon and hopefully it will be another winning Monday.
Straight after at 4.40 we have the 1m2f Cazoo Novice Stakes and the one to be on here is Chimed. I talked about him on debut last season over a mile at Kempton without backing him, he finished third, saying at the time 'make a note of the name though as the chestnut colt might be one to keep an eye on in the future' well the future is now as the son of Frankel and Timepiece is fancied to go in here at 6-4 BPG with the step up in trip expected to suit. Maplewood is feared,
Be lucky

I have talked of After The Rain before and mentioned how she might be one to watch over further as she matures being by French Guineas & Derby winner Shamardal out of Anjaz who won a G.3 in America in her racing career and was a fair middle-distance filly. She runs today at Windsor in the 1m2f David Andrews Belated 80th Birthday Celebration Fillies' Handicap at 4.05 and should be backed at the 11-4 BPG. She won at Wolverhampton last time showing a good attitude and I think her mark of 75 for her first handicap looks workable.Straight after at 4.40 we have the 1m2f Cazoo Novice Stakes and the one to be on here is Chimed.
