Best bets for the All-Weather horse racing Wednesday 22nd January

It was a nice little winner from the notebook on Monday for Triple G, no bets Tuesday but I do fancy three on Wednesday; all Godolphin owned, all trained by Charlie Appleby.

I tipped up Tolmount on debut over 1m½f at Wolverhampton in December when he was fourth running a little green. He had two entries this week and runs at Lingfield in the mile Bombardier British Hopped Amber Beer Maiden stakes due off at 3.25. As I mentioned in December he is by Dubawi out of Fintry, a Group winning mare trained by Andre Fabre for Godolphin, so this colt should prove above average. Cheek pieces have gone on and Luke Morris is in the saddle. Bet365 have gone 13-8 early.

Charlie Appleby also sends three to Kempton Park, two making their debuts.

In the 5.00 the 1m4f 32Red On The App Store Novice Stakes he runs two the once run Royal Castle who should improve for his debut fourth and newcomer Kingswear. The Dubawi colt is a full-brother to dual G.2 winner Dartmouth and half-brother to three other winners including another dual G.2 winner Manatee. He is bred for the job and expected to get off to a winning start. Bet365 were first up again at 9-2.

At 5.30 they face 7f for the Bet At racingtv.com Maiden Fillies' Stakes and Stormy Mountain is the one to be on here at 15-8 with Bet365. This debutant s a Dark Angel filly out of Aspen, an Australian raced mare who is well related. Jamie Spencer rides and she is fancied to finish off the Appleby hat-trick.
