Best bets for the All-Weather Horse Racing this weekend

A lot of people will be very excited about the Jumps fixtures this weekend, especially at Cheltenham, but I am leaving it alone and will be concentrating on the All-Weather meeting at Lingfield for my bets.

Best bets for the horse racing at Lingfield Park on the All-Weather

We have two Listed races down at the Surrey track and I will be getting involved them. Both are Fast-Track Qualifiers for Finals Day at Newcastle. First of them is the Listed 6f Bet UK Golden Rose Stakes at 2.35. A few familiar faces line-up in this. Summerghand hasn’t run on the Polytrack since April 2021 but that was a victory over this track and trip in that years All-Weather Sprint Championships Conditions Stakes. He had put in a couple of big runs in Handicaps at Wolverhampton prior to that lugging big weights and was also sixth in the Listed Kachy Stakes over the C&D, jumped at the start and was never in it. It appears connections fancy having a go for the Championship again and the eight-year-old would have a chance on his form this season. I am on for this at 5-2 BPG early and all being well he’ll be in Geordieland come April. Logo Hunter will be on the premises no doubt with Logo Hunter in with a shout.

The Listed 1m2f Bet UK Churchill Stakes is off at 3.10. A fascinating contender in this is Derby favourite of last year Bolshoi Ballet. Having been off the track since contesting the G.1 Hong Kong Cup in December the four-year-old runs here fitted with blinkers for the first time on his all-weather debut. He did win the G.1 1m2f Belmont Derby Invitational Stakes last year out in the States suggesting a tight left-hand turning track won’t inconvenience him too much as long as he goes on the surface. This is possibly a warm-up for bigger targets though it would be fascinating to see him have an All-Weather campaign! Anywhere near his best and he will surely win and I am on at 7-2 BPG this morning. Missed The Cut put together a hat-trick of handicap wins in the summer including taking Royal Ascot’s Golden Gates Handicap. He was last seen when a well beaten odds-on shot for the G.2 Prix Guillaume D'ornano but as a three-year-old with not many miles on the clock is feared receiving 3lb. All-Weather regular Forest Of Dean should be in the mix.

Be lucky
