Best bets for the All-Weather horse racing Saturday 12th January 2019
So far so average for 2019 with three winners and six seconds tipped up so far after sixteen bets! Triple G has been under the weather in more ways than one - bout of man-flu - but hopefully, there's a winner or three to be had this weekend to lighten the spirits.
The first bet goes in the first at 12.50 the one-mile Ladbrokes Home Of The Odds Boost Fillies' Handicap. I think you should forgive Sweet Nature for her fourth in a handicap at Chelmsford City 2 days ago; she was given no chance to my eye by the jockey. I grabbed 6-4 BPG as with Richard Kingscote taking over in the saddle the filly should win this.
6f Betway Handicap at 1.25 down at Lingfield. Reflektor has track and trip form and the geldings last win was off this OR of 92 at Wolverhampton. Usually needs a run or two after a break to hit peak form so is likely to improve for his recent comeback run at Wolverhampton. The draw could have been kinder but hopefully, he will pop out and show the opposition a clean pair of heels I am on at the standout 8-1 with Paddy Power.
It's the one-mile course again for the Novice Stakes at 3.10. I grabbed 5-2 BPG with Paddy Power for Shamlahar. She has shown some early toe in her two starts to date and all being well will grab a decent slot here up the pointed end here and go on to get her first win with improvement expected her return to the track after 201 days off with the stable in form.
Be lucky
