Best bet for the horseracing Sunday 24th March

The Flat Turf season got off to a winning start for me yesterday with the winner of the Listed William Hill Doncaster Mile Stakes, Charyn. The other two bets weren't so good so it was a small winning day. I fancy one quite strongly on Sunday, though sadly sp do the Bookies.

Best bet for the horseracing at Doncaster

I am of the strong opinion that the Godolphin owned, Charlie Appleby trained, Strong Opinion can get his first career victory this afternoon in the 7f Listed William Hill Doncaster Mile Stakes at 2.30. The 1,000,000 Guineas yearling son of Dubawi has been gelded over the winter and should have too much in his locker for this field. Fourth on debut at HQ before finishing second back at HQ in November, both over 7f and in soft conditions, he will surely be picking up prizes this season. I am on at 5-4 this morning that Daniel Tudhope can steer him to victory. Balmacara, who made a promising start to his career on the Rowley Mile last back end is the danger.

Be lucky
