Best bet for the horseracing at Lingfield Park Tuesday 5th January
Sadly Ludlow has been abandoned Tuesday due to frost and we have already lost the meeting at Ayr on Wednesday to a frozen track - thank the lord for the good old All-Weather!
I had a nice winner at Lingfield Park on Monday, I hope you were on, and I shall be concentrating there again on Tuesday.
The 6f Get Your Ladbrokes Daily Odds Boost Handicap at 2.10 looks to me to be about two chestnut fillies. Jennivere was arguably a little unlucky to get beat last time (ridden by Hollie Doyle) and that recent C&D second is looking strong form. She is creeping up the ratings though without winning and 5lb claimer Marco Ghiani is booked to ride to get a little weight off her back. Hollie was also on Little Sunflower when that filly won over track and trip last month and the jockey of the moment is on her again in this. Trained by William Stone the filly had run well at Chelmsford before that win and I think may still be on a workable mark of 50. The draw might have been kinder but she looks set to lead with no other obvious front-runner in the line-up and could hold them all off again, I have the 11-4 with Power overnight.
