Best bet for the horse racing Wednesday 11th August

There are a few newcomers running this week that I have been waiting for to make their debuts and two run at Kempton on Wednesday evening; against each other!

Best bet for the horse racing at Kempton Park

Charlie Appleby saddles Silk Romance in the 6.25 the 7f Unibet/British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes, was also entered at Doncaster Saturday. By Shamardal the Champion two-year-old and subsequent French 2,000 Guineas and Derby winner she is out of Lyric Of Light who won her three starts at two including the G.1 Fillies' Mile before being disqualified from the 1,000 Guineas (finished last and failed a drug test) never running again. Three of her four foals to have run have won races and it would be no surprise if this filly was able to win a race or two in her juvenile season. I have the 5-2 Tuesday afternoon available with Betfair and Power, I thought she’d be shorter. This may prove to be a decent race, Picual is another making debut, also had other entries this week, this one running for Sir Michael Stoute. She is one I will be keeping an eye on. Out for the winning Juddmonte mare Spice Trail by French 2,000 Guineas and Derby winner Lope De Vega this chestnut filly is another well-bred type. The yard aint known for newcomers winning though so she is best watched rather than backed on debut. Tinderbox looks the clear pick of those with experience for Godolphin, trained by the Gosden's, and is the early jolly.
Be lucky
