Best bet for the horse racing Tuesday 6th June
It is that time of year when Royal Ascot takes up a lot of my thinking but there is plenty of racing between now and the 20th June when the big meeting begins and hopefully a few quid to be won the bolster the Ascot coffers. I fancy one at Leicester on Tuesday afternoon.
Quddwah. A gelded half-brother to G.3 winner Discovery Island, Dam Sperry was a Listed winner over eight-furlongs in her day, it was a promising start to his racing career and the son of Kingman should be able to make it second time lucky in the mile British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Stakes at 4.00. There has been talk of the yard of Charlie Appleby being out of form, and I suppose just the two winners in the last eleven days is a dip in form for Moulton Paddocks but it's hardly panic stations! With William Buick having a day off James Doyle will be doing the steering and I am on at 5-2 this morning.
