Best bet for the horse racing Tuesday 30th March
It's has been a quiet start to the week but there is always the possibility of a couple of bets and one does go on Tuesday.
The 1m4f Play Ladbrokes 5-A-Side On Football Novice Stakes due off at 7.10 Tuesday evening up at Wolverhampton is a nice little race, only three runners but they all look potentially decent and it could be close. Bet365 chalked-up first offering 6-4, 15-8 and 15-8 and nothing much has changed overnight, it's a bit of a tight market!
I am backing Bandinelli from the yard of Charlie Appleby despite the fact he has to give the other two 7lb. A full-brother to Old Persian and a half-brother to a couple of other winners he has look a prospect in his tow runs to date; I tipped him in both. He finished down the field in a 10f novice stakes at Newcastle in December 2020 but then stepped up to 1m4f over this track and trip in January 2021 and won well, despite clearly still being somewhat green. Everything suggests he should progress again and at the 15-8 BOG this morning he is the pick for me. Golden Flame is fair and has been in with some good ones but looks in danger to an improver whilst Marshall Plan, trained for Godolphin by team Gosden, should come on for his run at Lingfield but I am not sure he has the class of the selection, he wasn't knocked about on debut but didn't really catch the eye either.
Be lucky
