My first bet for the month of August is actually in France at the big meeting in Deauville.

The race of the day is the Group One Prix Rothschild over the mile but Saffron Beach will be odds-on and Tenebrism is also in the mix at short odds so I am leaving that alone. The race I have bet in is the 1m2f Prix de Psyche Sky Sports Racing at 12.10 our time. I tipped Life Of Dreams in the G.2 1m4f Ribblesdale Stakes at the Royal Meeting, she disappointed there in truth, having also tipped her for the G.3 Musidora Stakes when second to Emily Upjohn earlier this season. She hasn't perhaps reached the heights hoped for but they were good races and she ran well enough in defeat to suggest she can win a race such as this. I have a bit of the 9-4 about this morning about the daughter of Dubawi and Endless Time.
