Best bet for the horse racing Tuesday 13th December

The weather has really taken it's toll on the horse racing this week but there is a bet to be had on Tuesday all being well. We of course lost the All-Weather meeting at Newcastle on Saturday and Wolverhampton had several inspections on Monday before racing went ahead whilst Dundalk had one race before the seven-race all-weather card had to be abandoned because of freezing fog and poor visibility.

Best bet for the horse racing at Wolverhampton

I am backing just the one at Wolverhampton in the 1m½f talkSPORT Powered By Fans EBF Novice Stakes at 4.15. Charlie Appleby has three running on Tuesday but jockey bookings suggest First Sight is the one to be on with William Buick travelling to Wolverhampton to ride the chestnut colt on his racecourse debut. The son of Dubawi cost 425,000 Guineas as a yearling and is out of Phiz, an above average filly in her day who placed in Group (runner-up in Park Hill Stakes) and Listed company who has foaled a couple of winners already in her broodmare career. At 2-1 overnight he is worth a punt to get off to a winning start in his career and I have that with Coral.

The other two running from Moulton Paddocks are Queen Of Fairies and Reflective Star both running in the 1.13 at Southwell.  Reflective Star didn't do much on debut but surely more can be expected whilst Queen Of Fairies makes debut. The race is best watched rather than bet on.
