Having said on Monday it would be a quiet start to the week with no real fancies I am having a punt at Chelmsford on Tuesday in the end.
Best bet for the horse racing at Chelmsford City
Having gone through the card for a second and third time I keep coming back to Perfect Symphony in the lucky last the 6f Barking Brickwork Contractors Ltd Classified Stakes at 8.50. It is far from top-class stuff but the seven-year-old gelding has a great chance to get back to winning ways here. Gets in off a mark of 49 which gives him every chance and he ran very well last time when second at Wolverhampton with fair efforts at Brighton, twice, and here over track and trip before that in his last four starts. He generally goes well here with a C&D win to his name and a couple of placed efforts. Drawn in five he should get as nice plot on the rails early as he is usually ridden prominently and all being well Joshua Bryan can steer him home in front, he has been amongst the winners recently with a couple at Lingfield over the weekend. Get on at 9-4.
