Best bet for the horse racing Thursday 4th March

Best bet for the horse racing at Chelmsford City

The mile 4.50 at Chelmsford City is the  tote Placepot Your First Bet Fillies' Novice Stakes and it is an interesting race well wort a watch I think.

Regent went in my notebook the day after on 17th February for her debut run over 7f. My notes read: Fair debut effort, slowly and went left from her outside stall. Ran on well to take third without being over worked by Mackay. Should improve for experience. Well bred.  I tipped Colour Of Light on debut when she was second to Kestenna at Kempton on the 16th February. She was well beaten by the jolly having not helped her chances being slow away and pretty green, but showed enough to suggest she will be decent. They head the market for this and it is very difficult to separate them in my book. Cash has been coming for the Charlie Appleby trained filly and Ryan Moore is in the saddle. I have Evens as I just, ever so slightly, prefer the Godolphin horse but really fear Regent; this could be a cracking little race.

Be lucky
