Best bet for the horse racing Monday 4th March 2019

It will be a fairly quiet week for most of the Jumps yards as everyone holds their breath and keeps everything crossed in the build-up to Cheltenham. There is plenty of All-Weather flat action though to keep us busy. The evening meeting comes from Wolverhampton on Monday and I fancy one if the lucky last the 6f Ladbrokes Home Of The Odds Boost Fillies' Novice Stakes at 8.15; hopefully will be worth the wait.

Sundiata has raced just twice, fifth over 7f at Lingfield on debut having fluffed the start, she was then fourth at Chelmsford City over seven again in January fading out of contention late on. Trained by Charlie Hills, whose yard is in sparkling form, this drop to six furlongs should suit and Oisin Murphy takes over in the saddle which has to be seen as a positive. The three-year-olds get the weight allowance here plus stall three is a decent draw so there are a lot of positives. I have taken a bit of the 5-2 this morning that she will improve again and can break her duck at the third attempt.

Be lucky
