Best bet for the horse racing Friday 20th May

It's been a tough week down at Triple G Towers thus far this week with results reading 4th, 2nd, 4th, 3rd, 4th and 2nd! One from the Dirty Dozen to follow this season runs today up at Haydock.

Best bet for the horse racing at Haydock Park

The race in questions is the Listed EBF British Stallion Studs Cecil Frail over 6f at 2.30 and Dirty Dozen member Nazanin is due to line-up. She pulled hard and weakened out of contention in the G.3 7f  Fred Darling on her Newbury return and a drop back in trip always looked likely. She did win two of her four starts at two for trainer Archie Watson finishing her campaign by winning the 6f G.3 Firth Of Clyde Fillies’ Stakes at Ayr’s Western Meeting. Two of her three half-siblings have been wining sprinters so this is likely her trip and I am prepared to take a chance each-way at 18-1 for this. Flotus gets in with no Group penalties so at the weights is an obvious danger, as is recent Novice Stakes winner Sense Of Duty if she improves again.

Be lucky
