Best bet for the horse racing Friday 16th December

Surprise, surprise it's all about the All-Weather racing again on Friday with Ascot and Uttoxeter both off. All sorts going on at Chelmsford City last night with the world and their wife walking the track before the scheduled first it seemed; plenty of digging heels in the Polytrack going on. Sadly it ended in racing being abandoned meaning Tagabawa was a non-runner. Hopefully temperatures will rise a little tomorrow and they can race at Kempton Park

Best bets for the horse racing at Kempton Park

I tipped Noble Order on debut back in October last year when he was second over seven at HQ and have mentioned him since, he was unbackable at the odds when winning here over track and trip in January. He was back in action again over the mile here 4-weeks ago following ten-months off the track, during which he was gelded and underwent wind surgery, and it went wrong from the off for him; slowly away he never really got in the race and ran-on into third. That will have blown away the cobwebs and he should be backed in the mile Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Handicap at 7.15. The son of Dubawi is out of Zibelina, a Group winner in her day that has foaled three other runners, all above average, including this ones full-brother Royal Fleet. At 9-4 overnight I am on.

Charlie Appleby has sent two others to make their debut on the card both running in the unibet Support Safe Gambling EBF Maiden Fillies' Stakes at 7.00. I haven't backed either but Sapphire Seas and Magical Skies should be watched with the future in mind. Others in this heat worth a watch are Albany, who will get a trip next year you'd think, and Twirling in the ownership of Michael Tabor. This is a Fillies Maiden well worth a watch and it wouldn't surprise me if there's a future winner or three in here.

Be lucky
