Best bet for the horse racing at Southwell Friday 21st December

I will be having a little lunchtime wager on Friday.

The owners of Don’t Do It have certainly tried to get a win with their horse. The 3yo gelding has been tried at distances from six furlongs to one-mile-four-furlongs, on ground from Good through to Heavy, on the Tapeta of Newcastle and Wolverhampton and the Polytrack at Chelmsford City. Oh and they have tried him at three different yards as well!

Michael Appleby is currently looking after him and there was market support for the gelding on stable debut at Chelmsford last time where he was fourth over 1m2f. He is back down to 7f in the Follow Top Tipsters At Sun Racing Handicap at Southwell due off at 12.55 on the Fibresand (might as well try that surface as well I suppose). First-time blinkers are on, surprised no-one has tried that before, and Luke Morris gets the leg-up. I don’t normally tip maidens who have run 14 times but that old shrewdy Michael Appleby might have fun him a winnable race here.

Take a chance and hope Don’t Do It can do it at 13-8 bpg with Betfair or Paddy Power overnight.

Be lucky
