My fancy yesterday Wild Beauty was unbackable at odds-on, did win but you can’t keep backing them that short! I do have one at a more interesting price for Wednesday.
Best bet for the racing at Salisbury
The race I am having a go in is the 1m4f Whitsbury Manor Stud Bibury Cup Handicap at 3.55. Bandinelli from the yard of Charlie Appleby is one I have put up a couple of times before, when he won at Wolverhampton on his second start and then when third of three, far from disgraced trying to give 7lb to two useful rivals after that. Form of the race working out well and both rivals now 90+ rated, the form of his win is strong and even his debut defeat looks better now over an inadequate 1m2f. Lord Protector has an obvious chance but the selection gets in off 89 here which might prove lenient and he gets 5lb in the handicap off the jolly. The chestnut colt is the one for me at 4-1 on his first try on turf; biggest concern is the softish going but hopefully it has dried enough.
